art bit exhibition at DiGRA 2025

『art bit – Contemporary Art & Indie Game Culture-』is an exhibition in Japan that showcases the current state of contemporary art and indie game culture. DiGRA 2025 will include a selection of playable works from the fifth iteration of the exhibition.

『art bit – Contemporary Art & Indie Game Culture-』 was born from the encounter between Hotel Anteroom Kyoto, which has been presenting the ever-changing art and culture of Kyoto since 2011, and BitSummit, one of the largest indie game festivals in Japan, which has continued since 2013. The exhibition features contemporary art works inspired by games and play, and indie game works that are unique in their authorship and individuality.
